Ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of our club's facilities, overseeing tasks related to the upkeep of our curling rink, equipment, and amenities to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for members and visitors.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct and maintain an inventory of all club assets, equipment and amenities.
- Identifying items in need of repair, replacement, or upgrade.
- Develop a budget and procurement plan for maintaining the Club’s building, property and equipment, in consultation with the club's board of directors.
- Ensure all equipment is safe and in good working order at the beginning of the season and during monthly checks (e.g., fire extinguishers.
- Coordinate volunteers to assist with repairs.
- Coordinate contractor, if required.
